Project Overview
The Brief
AWS wanted to create buzz along the Cannes coast for their 2025 AWS Port. Not a problem.
With a number of booths throughout Port, AWS not only wanted to show off their latest generative AI tools to support advertisers and marketers, but build a buzz-worthy activation that could cut through the considerable noise in southern France.
Our Approach
We started by tapping into the beating heart of Southern France: fragrances.
Using a suite of advanced AI tools, we gave users full creative control to develop an entire fragrance campaign—from concept to launch. A conversational AI agent guided users through fragrance design, while generative models produced custom imagery and promotional videos. Finally, a specialized formulation engine helped users craft a unique scent from a curated base of more than thirty ingredients.
The App
Leveraging Amazon AI foundation models Nova and Bedrock, we gave users free reign to craft an entire fragrance campaign: images, video and the fragrance itself.
Users step up to the kiosk, where a series of thoughtful questions helps uncover key personality traits using, Nova Sonic to provide conversational insights. Nova Canvas and Reel added the bespoke marketing imagery for your fragrance campaign. Finally, Amazon Nova Pro helped users design an original fragrance from a base of 37 unique ingredients.
Creating the Fragrance
Once finalized, the selected formula is sent directly to our team of expert perfumers. In a face-to-face session, each perfumer works with the guest to refine and balance the scent, using their intuition and expertise to bring the fragrance to life. The result is a truly custom perfume that captures the essence of the individual, created through a seamless blend of intelligent design and human craftsmanship.
